@iLabAfrica in Kenya have developed an HTML widget to showcase IDS Knowledge Services content of thematically organised and hand selected academic research on poverty reduction in the developing world that is freely available to access online.

The application allows website administrators to configure a HTML widget which can be embedded in a website with a few simple lines of code. The widget can automatically display the latest development research on a wide variety of themes from the BRIDGE and/or Eldis datasets.

You can:

  • Select the themes you want to display research from
  • Set the size of the widget, so that it fits perfectly in the format of your website
  • Receive statistics on who visits your widget
  • Receive updates about new themes that have been added to the datasets

See an example HTML widget here and on the HDRC website.
