Countries

Countries of focus are used to identify either:

  • which geographic area the research document covers
  • where the research was produced, based on the publisher country
  • the countries in which an organisation works

Note that we also provide:

  • a location_country to indicate where an organisation is based, and
  • a publisher_country to indicate where the publisher of a document is based.

We use the predefined list of countries and make the ISO codes available for searching.
